A 8 page paper based on a case study from Harvard. A legal analysis and ethical analysis are provided. In the early 1970s, some Pintos caught fire when involved in a rear-end crash. The fuel tank ruptured. The writer discusses the laws and regulations as they applied to the Pinto and then discusses the ethical issues of the case, ending with a recommendation.
